About me …

In 2014 I set up a company with the single goal to make people happy. Our team, our clients, our suppliers and anyone we had the privilege of working with. The problem was - we had no idea how to do this.
We thought we did, but it turns out free breakfasts, comfy sofas and raucous parties don’t really work.
So, for eight years I immersed myself in the science and academic research on workplace wellbeing, workplace happiness and team performance to try to work out the secrets of happiness in the workplace. I tried hundreds of things, some worked and some failed spectacularly, but we learnt a tiny lesson every time. It was a long, tough journey with many ups and downs but it was worth it.
Now, I teach happiness in the workplace: how to use the science of well-being to build better teams - teams that collaborate more effectively, innovate more, and stay together longer. Teams that are happier.
As part of my mission to make workplaces happier places to be, I’ll be sharing practical tips on Substack to show people how to make their workplace a little bit happier.
